Short Biography
Classical guitarist Luther Enloe is recognized for his resonant tone, lyrical phrasing, and expressive command. ARTS ATL called his performance of Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez “magnificent,” praising the purity of his tone and elegance of his phrasing. Enloe has performed in recital, concerto, chamber, and collaborative settings throughout the United States and on concert tours in Sicily and Brazil. He has appeared as a performer, clinician, masterclass teacher, and adjudicator at guitar festivals and universities across the United States. His performances have been broadcast on WABE 90.1 FM and Georgia Public Broadcasting’s Arts Channel. Based in Atlanta, Enloe is Artist Affiliate of Guitar at Emory University and Part-Time Instructor of Guitar at the University of North Georgia.

Full Biography
Classical guitarist Luther Enloe is recognized for his resonant tone, lyrical phrasing, and expressive command. ARTS ATL called his performance of Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez “magnificent,” praising the purity of his tone and the elegance of his phrasing. Concert presenters have similarly praised both the musical range of his programs and his ability to speak to audiences in a way that is informative, natural, and engaging. Following a December 2025 concert in Atlanta, Matthew Michael Brown, Director of Music at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, wrote: “A complete joy to hear Luther Enloe perform on our concert series,” praising the balance of heartfelt lyricism, virtuosity, and concise commentary from the stage.
Enloe has appeared in recital, concerto, chamber, and collaborative performances throughout the United States and abroad. Recent highlights include solo concerts at Emory University, the University of Florida Guitar Extravaganza, the Troy University Guitar Festival, Dalton State College, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Atlanta, and concert tours in Sicily and North Dakota. Other recent projects have included the world premiere of Solstice Sonorities by Nickitas Demos, performances with Grammy Award-winning tenor Richard Clement, and a 2025 WABE 90.1 FM broadcast of his Emory Artist Affiliate recital on Atlanta Music Scene.
Based in the Atlanta area, Enloe is Artist Affiliate of Guitar at Emory University and Part-Time Instructor of Guitar at the University of North Georgia. He also served for thirteen years at Georgia State University, where he helped transform the guitar program through curriculum development, the creation of the Master of Music in Guitar Performance and the guitar graduate assistantship, the growth of the Guitar Ensemble, and the presentation of more than twenty guest artist concerts and masterclasses. His students and former students have gone on to college teaching positions, graduate assistantships, concerto performances, and competition success.
Another important part of Enloe’s current work is with SimpleC Connected Care, where he serves as Music Curator and Strategist. There he develops digital therapeutic music programs for older adults and individuals living with dementia and related cognitive challenges. In recent years this work has grown into broader strategy involving program development, therapeutic design, and internal systems thinking. It reflects a serious and expanding commitment to music as a tool for memory, comfort, engagement, and quality of life.
Enloe earned the Doctor of Musical Arts, Master of Music, and Bachelor of Music degrees from the University of Georgia, where he studied with John Sutherland. He also studied sixteen works in nine masterclass settings with Christopher Parkening and is a sponsored artist with Muiderman Guitars.

Stage Requirements
For solo classical guitar performances, please provide:
- One adjustable artist bench or piano bench. If neither is available, a sturdy, armless chair with a seat approximately [INSERT HEIGHT] inches from the floor is suitable. A standard chair is preferred rather than a stool.
- A private room or other quiet space where Luther can warm up before the performance.
- Access to the performance space before the concert for setup and, when needed, a sound check.
Luther travels with his own low folding music stand.
Classical guitar is often performed without amplification in smaller venues. Amplification needs for larger spaces or outdoor performances can be discussed in advance.
