Monthly Tuition and Makeup Lessons

Students may receive one makeup lesson during each of the following periods:
January through April
May through August
September through December
A makeup lesson is available only when at least 24 hours’ notice is given. Approved student cancellations are rescheduled and are not credited, refunded, or deducted from monthly tuition.
Additional student cancellations, late cancellations, and missed lessons are not eligible for makeup lessons.
Lessons cancelled by the instructor will be rescheduled or credited.
Lack of preparation is not considered a reason for cancellation.
Payment may be made by [INSERT ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS].
Preparation and Practice
Students are expected to prepare consistently between lessons and complete assigned work to the best of their ability.
If a student has not been able to prepare adequately, the lesson should still be attended and can be used for guided practice and review. Lack of preparation is not considered a reason for cancellation.
Materials
Students are responsible for purchasing their own music, method books, strings, accessories, and other assigned materials unless otherwise stated.
Digital materials supplied by the studio are for the enrolled student’s personal educational use and should not be distributed without permission.
Discontinuing Lessons
Students or families who decide to discontinue lessons should provide written notice as soon as possible.
Payments already made are not refundable for missed lessons or student withdrawals.
The studio reserves the right to discontinue instruction when payment remains unpaid, attendance is repeatedly inconsistent, studio policies are not followed, or the teaching relationship is no longer productive.
